Here is what has changed and what has not changed in Windows 11:
What has not changed in Windows 11:
- Login experience is the same
- You will still log in with “Windows Hello” or your username and password
What is new in Windows 11:
- New Taskbar and Start Menu
- Pin and group applications directly to the Start menu
- Docking settings are applied when you undock and dock
- Note this is not covered in the Windows 11 Walkthrough. When you undock your Windows-based device, Windows 11 remembers how you had your screen laid out, which applications are on which screen, and your default speakers
- New Snap experience, and more options to snap windows
