This article will explain what shows in your Microsoft Teams Activity feed and how you can check it. 

  • CWC Employees are expected to check their activity feed as often as they would typically check their email in the past. 
  • For Pastors, Directors & Secretaries, this should be done at least once or twice a day. 


What's in the Activity feed?

Your feed will show you a summary of everything that's happened in Teams, from chats and channels mentioning you to meeting invites and cancelations. Please be aware that by default, when you're added to a new Team, the channel post notifications are set to "Off." Desktop

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Select the bell-shaped "Activity" tab on the upper left-hand corner of the screen as shown in the screenshot below

                                             


          3. If you select "Unread" it will turn on and change to purple and show you your unread notifications only. You can toggle on both "Unread" and "@Mentions" at the same time or one or the other. 




           4. If you select the three dots as shown in the first screenshot below, you can mark all notifications as read or navigate to all your notification settings. If you select the three bars, you will see the second screenshot below, which allows you to search notifications by keyword.

Mobile

  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Select bell-shaped "Activity" tab on bottom left-hand corner as shown in the screenshot below to view all activity. 


                                                                                               


        3. Select the "Unread only" toggle in the top left-hand corner to view all unread notifications. If you select the "Filters" button, it will bring up the screen shown in the second screenshot below. From there, you can filter notifications by mentions, replies, following, reactions, apps, missed calls or voicemails.
