Ideally, all employees will receive their Microsoft Teams notifications through the mobile app on their phone or computer. However, we understand that some still prefer to use receive all notifications and updates through Outlook. This article will show you how to make sure all your Team's notifications are forward to your email inbox. You will need to perform the following steps on a laptop or computer. 


1. Open Microsoft Teams on a computer and navigate to settings by selecting the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. 



2. Select "Settings." 



3. Select "Notifications and activity" in the left-hand column in the settings menu. 




4. After navigating to the "Notifications and activity" screen, a third of the way down the page, you will see "Missed activity emails." Select the dropdown box and select the option you would prefer. If you would prefer everything notification including posts and chats to come to your email, select "As soon as possible." The primary function of this setting is to show you notifications you may have missed throughout your day, so it may be helpful for some to set this to daily. Most will want to set this option to "Off."
